Getting deeper into the root (you'll get my pun in a moment)of these works is the visual connection to tree stumps. Paper from trees, recycled back into art-it's all very good and green. The fourth picture you've shown is particularly strong. These dusty old books bursting into organic waves. I love when a piece makes my eyes work!
